The New York Yankees lineup has a lot of game-changing power hitters, but one of them would like to add another one.

Judge told reporters that Juan Soto would help whichever team he went to win a lot of ball games. I don't want him to go to a team that we have to play in the last minute. It would be great to see him in New York or somewhere else.

Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reported Saturday that the team may look to trade him after he turned down a 15-year, $440 million contract offer.

He is a young talent who will bolster the World Series chances of whichever team lands him, and he is under team control for the next four years.

Washington doesn't need to be traded. The National League East club might be able to get a better return package from the Yankees or another contender.

He said that he couldn't do anything about the trade rumors. I have something on my hand. I'll play as hard as I can.

The Nationals won the World Series with the help of the two-time All-Star and two-time Silver Slugger. He's slashed.250/.405/.500 with 20 home runs and 43 runs scored.

Washington is last in the NL East.

New York has the best record in baseball at 64-28 and would only become a bigger favorite if it cost a lot of highly regarded prospects. It's already a championship-or-bust season for the Bronx Bombers and teaming Soto with Judge would only amplify that reality.

Teams and MLB fans would love to see him in their lineups, as evidenced by Judge's sentiment that they would love to see him in their lineups.
