Fans lined the streets of Glasgow to pay their respects to Andy Goram.
The supporters applauded as the funeral cortege passed the stadium.
Team mates and managers were among the mourners.
Goram died this month after a short battle with cancer.
He played four times for his country in cricket.
Rangers won five Scottish premier league titles and three Scottish cups.
He was a goalkeeping coach at a football club.
Sir Alex Ferguson, who took Goram on loan to Manchester United during the 2000-01 season, was among the mourners.
Many Rangers players and managers from the past and present were there.
At the service, Ally, John, and Donald gave speeches.
Goram was given six months to live after he was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer which affects the long tube that carries food from the throat to the stomach.
He said that he turned down the treatment because it only lasted three months.
