Young players taking on leadership roles bring the best to the squad.

Manager Mikel Arteta is trying to find a new captain after the departure of Alexandre Lacazette.

"I think I've improved that quality a little bit with the time and experience."

He said that he had been through a lot of things and that made him stronger.

One of the young talents at the club is Odegard, who already captains his country.

Arteta has added three new players this summer.

The current squad has already experienced a lot, and Odegaard says his younger team-mates are big, big talents.

He became Norway's youngest-ever senior international when he made his debut at the age of 15 years and 253 days, four months after his club debut with Stromsgodset in his home country.

He joined Real Madrid in 2015, then went on to spend time on loan at Heerenveen, Vitesse and Real Sociedad before becoming a member of the club.

Odegaard can share his experience with his team-mates, as he has played a lot of games on a high level.

He said that he tries to use his calm on the pitch to his advantage.

Everyone expects you to lead even if you are young.

"That brings the best out of the young guys coming through, so definitely I think everyone here feels like they need to be on their best and they need to take Ownership of everything we do."

In a pre-season tour in the United States, where they missed out on a spot in the European Championship last season, the team is playing against a couple of teams, including a game against a team in the FA Cup.

It's nice to come here and play in front of the fans and hopefully make them happy with the games.

You see the support we have all over the world when you travel like this.
