The goal of the two performance-focused electric vehicle concepts is to keep car culture alive. The RN22e has a modified Ioniq 6 body, and the N Vision 74 has a refreshing sporty design that doesn't look like a futuristic Pod.

The two concepts are from the N brand. The N Vision 74 is the most striking of the two, and features a design that was originally designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the man who created the DMC DeLorean.

This iteration swaps the gas-powered engine for a hybrid hydrogen fuel cell system that can push the car over 150 mph. The battery has 800V fast charging capabilities, as well as an over 372 mile driving range.

This isn't the first time thatHyundai has tried to create an EV like the Pony. The 45 EV concept is supposed to pay homage to the classic car, but it doesn't do it justice. A 70s-era Pony car was converted into an EV and equipped with a bunch of modern elements.

The N Vision 74 is more flashy than the RN22e. It uses the same aerodynamic streamliner design as the Ioniq 6 that the company just introduced. The RN22e has a 77.4kWh battery with 400 or 800V fast multi-charging capability as well as a maximum speed of over 200kph. If you want to experience an emotional driving experience, you can use the N Sound Plus feature on the RN22e.

This EV restomod is one of the impressive concept cars pushed out byHyundai. We don't know if any of these concepts will ever make it out of the factory door, but we do know that the Ioniq 5 N is going to be released in 2023.
