Three of Scotland's five European representatives this season will find out what lies in wait on Monday when Rangers, Motherwell and Dundee United play in Uefa draws.

Motherwell will face the Irish side at Fir Park on Thursday in the first leg of the Conference League second qualification round.

The draw for the third qualification round will be held on Monday.

The dates affect Scottish clubs.

Motherwell & Dundee Utd await draws

Motherwell are notseeded for the third-round draw which will take place on Monday.

The Steelmen will face aseeded opponent if they beat Sligo.

Jack Ross' Dundee United will face the winner of one of the four ties.

The third round will take place over two days. The play-offs will take place on 18 and 25 August.

Motherwell lost to Hapoel Beer Sheva in the third qualification round of the Europa League in 2020-21, while United will return to Europe for the first time in a decade.

Rangers' next adventure begins

Rangers qualified for the playoffs by finishing second in the league.

The draw for the third qualification round will be held on Monday, with Rangers being the top seed.

The winner of the second round tie between Midtjylland and AEK will face either Monaco or Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. The Danes and Cypriots will play each other on Tuesday.

The first leg will take place on 2 or 3 August. The play-off round will take place over two days in August.

The team will go into the group stage for a fifth season in a row if they don't make the playoffs.

Group-stage football will be played until the end of 2022.

Austria Vienna and Belgium's Gent will be the teams that the Scottish Cup finalist will avoid in the play-offs.

There are six unseeded teams that will be beaten in the third qualification round of the European club competition. There are some teams in the latter category.

If the team were to lose, they would get into the group stage.

Since 2004, Hearts have not been involved in a group stage in the Uefa Cup.

Celtic make Champions League return

Celtic are the only Scottish team that doesn't have a play-off or qualification.

Real Madrid, Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt are potential opponents from the first pot of seeds, which is the lowest.

A side that beat Celtic twice in last season'sEuropa League is among the teams in pot three.

Celtic have been in the group stage of the European competition for the past four years.

There will be a draw in Istanbul.

Group stage dates

There will be busy midweeks in September, October and November with Scotland guaranteed at least three group stage participants.

The group stages will be finished in time for the tournament.

The group-stage matchdays will be in September and October.

Group games will be played on 8 and 15 September, 6 and 13 October and 27 October.
