The CEO of Starbucks suggested Wednesday that major U.S. cities are neglecting the crime issue in favor of community safety.

In his view, the governments across the country have abdicated their responsibility in fighting crime and addressing mental health, according to a video posted on social media.

Customers and other members of the public were involved in such incidents.

"I don't have to spend too much time on what's happening in the country and how America is becoming unsafe, but you all read the press release over the last couple of days that we are beginning to close stores that are not unprofitable." One of the main concerns that our retail partners have is their own safety.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Starbucks will help train baristas to deal with active shooter situations. Store managers will be able to limit seating or close the bathroom.

The decline of law and order in recent years is a reflection of the national experience with Starbucks struggle to keep its store doors open. If the crime rate keeps going up, he will have to close more stores.

We have stores in every community and we are facing things which the stores were not built for. This is just the beginning as we listen and close stores. He said there would be many more.

Large migrations out of progressive states such as California and New York have been caused by an era of record crime that has been presided over by President Biden and the Democrats.
