The city of St. is located in the northeastern part of the United States Kevin Kiermaier could miss the rest of the season with a left hip injury.
The outfielder hasn't been in the lineup since July 9. In 63 games this year, he is hitting.228 with 7 homers, 22 runs and 6 stolen bases.
It is difficult to grasp. I haven't really felt it yet. I'm in that limbo, in between periods, but I think we'll know more soon.
September is when he could come back from the IL. After the All-Star break, Kiermaier is going to see a doctor. There is a possibility of a surgical procedure taking place.
"We need to keep everything under wraps until a decision is made, and then we'll go from there," he said.
Brandon Lowe was activated from the 60-day disabled list after being out since mid-May with a lower back injury.
"I'm not going to be back anytime soon, so this was the move that needed to be made, and I completely agree with it," he said.
