NASCAR Driver Bobby East Dead at 37 After Being Stabbed

Police and media reports say that Bobby East was stabbed to death by a drifter at a California gas station.

Trent William Millsap is being sought by police in connection with East's murder, which took place at a 76 gas station around 6PM Wednesday.

The racecar driver was pumping gas when East got into a fight. It wasn't clear what triggered the argument, but Millsap is said to have thrown a sharp object into East's chest.

Cops performed life-saving measures on East until paramedics arrived, according to reports. East was taken to a hospital where he died.

The usually safe and crime-free Westminister area has a drifter named Millsap who frequents the motel. He is a danger.
