According to multiple reports, Musk's lawyers filed a motion Friday asking that the trial not begin until February of next year.

The first formal response to the lawsuit was filed by Musk.
A request for comment from Forbes was not responded to.
After accusing the company of not giving enough information, Musk terminated the deal last week. In a letter to the company, Mike Ringer, Musk's attorney, said that the company was in violation of several provisions, but that it was Musk who was in violation. Musk was accused of attempting a "fishing expedition" to get out of the deal because of the downturn in his wealth. Musk's requests for more information on the accounts are "increasingly intrusive and unreasonable" according to the company.
According to the filing, Musk's attorneys said that he was damaging the company with the sense of humor of a robot. A non-disparagement section of the agreement was violated by Musk's public criticism of the company.
The request to expedite the trial is going to be heard on Tuesday.
Musk says that he was dragged feet on a deal and is about to go to trial.
The social networking site sued Musk for trying to cancel the acquisition.
