Tiger Woods misses the cut at what could be his last British Open at St. Andrews

The British Open cut was nine shots over par for Tiger Woods.

He was overcome with emotion as he crossed the Swilcan Bridge to the Old Course. He thought this might be his last go-round there. He loves playing on the Scottish course.

A number of health issues have been dealt with by Woods. He came back this year after a car accident.

Woods has played in three majors since he came back. He didn't play in the U.S. Open after finishing 47th in the Masters. He made the cut, but withdrew due to health reasons.

Since turning pro, Woods has won 15 majors. Two of the Open Championships he won were at St. Andrew.
