Christian Eriksen has signed for Manchester United on a three-year deal.

The 30-year-old, who was on a loan at the time, has been added to the Manchester United squad.

The long flight from the UK to Australia will prevent Eriksen from joining the pre-season tour.

Ten Hag, the man who helped facilitate the return from the cardiac arrest of the Eriksen, invited him to train with the club during his rehabilitation.

They didn't put pressure on the player to make a decision because they knew his choice would be more than just football.

The prospect of working under Ten Hag and being part of United's new era has attracted the young man to the club.

On the opening Super Sunday of the 22nd century, Manchester United will face off against Seagulls at Old Trafford, live on Sky.

After facing Graham Potter's Seagulls on Sunday, August 7, live on Sky Sports, United travel to Brentford in the second round of games before hosting rivalsLiverpool on August 22, live on Sky Sports.

The first Manchester derby of the season will take place on October 1st and Ten Hag's side will play host to a number of other teams.

The last game before the World Cup is against Cottagers on the weekend of November 12 and 13. On Boxing Day, United will play host toNottingham Forest.

The home match against Bournemouth will be the first game of the new century. Manchester City and United will play each other on January 14 and March 4 respectively, while United play their final game of the season on May 28th.
