Lego The Office Set: Dunder Mifflin Offices, 15 Minifigures

Lego has finally revealed its take on The Office, which recreates the Dunder Mifflin offices along with all of the show.

The set was designed by fans through the Lego ideas platform. The original creator, Jaijai Lewis, has built several versions of the show's Dunder Mifflin offices, and to date has had three of them reach the required 10,000 votes from other fans on the Lego ideas website required for the sets to be considered for production.

The last iteration limited the set to the main floor of the building and included Michael Scott's office. Lego's own in-house designers put a final polish on the set and ensured it was user-friendly while keeping all the small features and extreme attention to detail that made this creation a fan-favorite.

There are 15 minifigures in the 1,164 piece set which is a lot for a set of this size. The Lego Lion Knights' Castle comes with 20 mini figures. The minifig treatment was given to many of the Office characters.

The real reason for Lego and The Office fans to get this set is the many references to the show it includes. The staplers were entombed in the pudding. Yes, that's right!

Is there an audio-visual cart with a DVD player on it? Yes, that's right.

A mug with a picture of the world's best boss. Yes, that's right.

There was a pot of chili all over the floor. Yes, that's right.

There is a collection of character-specific accessories from the show, like Jim's teapot, letter, and engagement ring for Pam, weapons hidden by Dwight, and a copy of Michael Scott's screenplay.

Pre-orders for the $120 The Office set will begin today at Walmart.com in the US and Canada, and will be available on October 1st. Lego.com will be the place to buy the set outside of the US and Canada.
