The most annoying thing about Wordle is the fact that your NYT account isn't linked to your Stats. Your statistics would be reset every time you played on a new device.
If you log into your NYT account, your statistics will be saved no matter which device you play on.

After the announcement, the feature wasn't immediately enabled, and the NYT only said it was coming soon.
The feature is now available according to the Wordle team. When I opened Wordle on my laptop, the statistics were there, even though I tied my account on Apple's mobile operating system.
