This is a wild situation. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes WWE Raw won’t be going to TV-14 on July 18th but still in consideration for a later date.

Will go live tomorrow morning to break this down. https://t.co/F29mP8xCwy

There was a memo within USA Network that went out this morning regarding WWE Raw changing to TV-14 on July 18th.Apparently that was sent out prematurely and the day was not finalized.

Since July 2008, Raw has been rated TV-PG on the USA Network.

To become more family-friendly, the company has tried to cater to a younger audience and avoid any instances of violence and blood. The company criticized AEW for a match earlier this year, saying what happened was "gory self-mitigating".

During the Attitude Era of the late 1990s, there was a return of edgier programming. Time will tell if that shift will create more compelling storylines that will draw in more fans.
