Donald Trump is returning to Washington, DC, for the first time since he left office, where he's expected to speak at a GOP summit and outline what a second presidential term for him might look like.

On the second day of the America First Agenda Summit, he will speak with other Republican and MAGA figures.

The website for the America First Policy Institute confirmed that Trump was in attendance on Thursday. The former president has been living at his Mar-A-Lago resort in Florida since he left the White House.

Less than a week after the July 21 hearing, Trump will give a speech.

According to a source familiar with the event's planning, Trump will use the podium to respond to the latest allegations and revelations from that hearing.

According to CNN, it's believed that Trump will speak on his policy plans for a second term if he's re-elected.

In an interview with New York Magazine published on Thursday, Trump said that he had already made a decision about running in 2024 and was considering when to make his announcement.

It's possible that Trump will declare his run before or after the elections.

Insider's Ryan Barber and Kim Leonard previously reported that an early announcement may undermine the GOP's chances of winning back congressional seats.

One source told The Washington Pos t that there is a 70% chance that Trump will make his bid official before the elections.
