There has been a lot of speculation about the upcoming Moto X30 Pro, and a new photo shows that the camera is as good as the company has said it is.
The Edge 30 Ultra, also known as the X30 Pro, is one of the most impressive photography-focused phones in the industry because it has a 200 million camera on its back. A new photo shows us what the X30 will look like, which means we can finally see them with our own eyes.
The General Manager of Moto China, Chen Jin, showed off a single image taken with the 200MP camera. Even though the photo was compressed to fit on the website, it still looks amazing. You can zoom in to see a lot of the minute details of the plants in the picture.
Although this is a singular image, and we have yet to see the X30 officially in action, the photograph is a nice snapshot look into what can be expected of the X30 Pro. It is great to see a device that is doubling down on quality and making photography the main focus.
Photographers should be excited about the X30 Pro, but there is still a concern about storage. Hopefully the X30 Pro will have some large internal storage options because the image posted to Weibo is over 13MB. It will get full quickly if it isn't changed. This is always a concern when it comes to photography focused devices, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that Moto is able to provide solid storage here.
There is no official word on when the phone will be launched. It seems as if it will be for sale in China later this month and then in the West in late August. Expect to see more sample images from the X30 Pro in the next few weeks. It is hoped that future samples won't be limited by compression so that we can see what the company has up its sleeves.
