The No Sail Order was issued by the U.S. Coast Guard and forced the cancellation of the July 13 sailing to the Bahamas.
"During the ship's annual exam, Port State Control officers identified conditions, which required the ship to stay in port until rectified due to the safety of the crew and passengers. The ship will not sail until the conditions are rectified," the Coast Guard told WPTV news in West Palm Beach.
The cruise line is "expeditiously" working to address the flagged items and continue sailing on schedule, according to the CEO.
Questions about the nature of the flagged items were not answered by the cruise line.
The cancellation of the July 13 sailing won't have an impact on the itineraries. Guests disembarked and were compensated for the hassle.
The cruise ship was supposed to leave West Palm Beach on Wednesday for a two night cruise to the Bahamas.
