Harvey Weinstein was a powerful producer. He was known for sexually harassing and assaulting women before they came forward. Weinstein's actions and crimes were exposed by a series of news stories.
The film She Said was inspired by this. The reporters had to convince the women to speak out in order to end Weinstein's reign.
Weinstein's voice is heard in the trailer, but he is mostly off camera in these clips. Even though he isn't present, his influence is still there. Two reporters who broke the story are introduced in the trailer.
The veteran reporter, Twohey, is played by Carey Mulligan, while the film's main character, Kantor, is portrayed by ZOE KASIN. Twohey had a good idea of what it would take to get the women to talk.
The film features a co-star as Rebecca Corbett, as well as a co-star as Dean Baquet. Tom Pelphrey is one of the supporting cast members.
The script was written by Rebecca Lenkiewicz. The movie will be in theaters on November 18.
