  • The actor said his wife thought his muscles were too much.

  • He said that he got bigger than he's ever been for the movie.

Chris said his wife wasn't a fan of his jacked-up look in the movie.

"My wife was like, 'Bleh, it's too much,' but a lot of female friends and family were like, 'Y!'"

He said in his interview that he got bigger for his latest appearance as the God of thunder.

Sitting in confinement was like a prison. It was a train. There's nothing else to do. I turned up for the film larger than I have ever been.

Taika Waititi, who directed the film and voices Korg, said that his arms were twice as big as normal. People are asking me how he does it. It's all normal.

In a recent interview with ABC's Good Morning America, he said that he ate every couple of hours, worked out extensively, and had to maintain that for four months.

He has portrayed the character since his first movie in 2011.

The film, which costars Natalie Portman as Jane Foster/Mighty THOR and Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher, also features appearances from most of the family members of the actor.

In the film, Pataky makes a brief appearance as a woman who kissesThor while atop a large wolf.

Three of the couple's children are in the movie.

India Rose plays the daughter of Gorr who is nicknamed Love by the end of the movie, their son plays a young version ofThor, and their other twin boy plays a child who is taken hostage by the villain.

In a stage production, Hemsworth's older brother reprises his role as a villain.
