There is a weird loophole in the experiment that allows two people to share their thoughts on social media. It's now possible to make a mistake. You can only see it if a link is sent to you. It could be put in a website.

I don't have a verified account, but here is my unlisted one.

This is an unlisted tweet.

Try to find it in my timeline.

Try to search for it.

If you search for them, they don't show up in your timelines, but they do show up if you look for them. People are able to respond to them. If they do, those replies will show up in a search on the micro-blogging site.

If a tweet falls in a forest...

You have to assume that you have access to CoTweets. They need to ignore the request if you want another account to co-Tweet a message with you. If they are using a desktop client, the accept and decline buttons are already present.

If they accept the CoTweet, you'll be able to see it. It's deleted if they decline. Anyone with the URL can see it. We did a lot of testing today.

This probably won't last for long because I don't think this is the intent of the social network. It's possible that a certain amount of time will result in the deletion of CoTweets. I will let you know what I heard.

Maybe it will stick around because this is something that advertisers on the platform have been able to access for a long time. Baio wrote about it in 2015. Since there is no distinction between users and advertisers, you can probably try that method.

Nobody will see this tweet except for @anildash. It's not in my timeline, search, or viewable by any followers. TWITTER MYSTERIES ✨

I couldn't set my unlisted tweets to not allow replies and I had to reply to my own unlisted one.

I don't know why you'd want to do all of this, but I think the CoTweet feature is a good idea. Bad actors should know that this is visible to them. Please stop and do something productive for our society if that is you.
