Since I got my hands on the Razr in 2020, I've been a big fan. The big front display and chin were some of the highlights of the Razr. It wasn't just a phone. The two features stood out. It was better if we didn't talk about the cameras.

If the leaks are to be believed, the new phone from the company is going to be amazing. There is a reason why I am excited for the upcoming device.

The mid-range Snapdragon 7-series chips were used for the foldable Razrs. The performance of the Razrs was not up to par for a smooth experience. When I used the Razr 5G, it let me do day-to-day tasks well, but as soon as there were a couple of apps running in the background, it showed why a flagship chipset is important for a phone costing over $1,000.

That is another thing that has never been correct for the company. Despite using less expensive pieces ofSilicon, it's done so without a lower price than competing foldables

According to the rumors, the next iteration of the device will be powered by the Gen 1 Chipset. The latest version of the chip is more efficient than the one that powers the best phones of the future. There's plenty of room for files and multitasking with the rumored 8 gigabytes of ram and 512 gigabytes of storage on the new chip. It is not something to be taken lightly that this will allow the upcoming Razr to perform better than the previous ones.

(Hopefully) good cameras

There was a single 16MP primary camera. The pictures it took looked like they came from a phone. The low-light performance wasn't good. The 48MP primary camera on the Razr 5G allows us to take more detailed pictures, but we don't get the results we expect from a $1,000 phone.

The optics department is expected to get a big upgrade in the next iteration of the device. It has a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP ultra- wide lens. Is that the best camera setup in the world? It's not at all. I think it will deliver on-par results with most of the flagship phones of the year 2021. Adding a second lens would make the camera setup more varied and up-to-date.

In comparison to how the Razr 2020 and Razr 5G dropped the ball here, any meaningful upgrade should be a big deal.

The Razr’s best feature gets better

The first two foldable Razr phones had a larger surface area on the front than the other two. The larger front display of the flip makes it a better choice than the Razr.

There is more to it than just the looks. You can reply to messages without opening the phone. Controls for music playing, looking at notifications, and checking the time at a glance are also included. According to the latest rumors, the outer display is going to be bigger with a 3-inch screen, making it even better.

Crease begone

Many foldable phones have a hinge that was developed by Moto. The crease depth is decreased by the drop in the hinge. The leaked pictures show a lesser crease, which could make the Razr stand out from the competition.

In the coming weeks, the new version of the Razr will be launched in China, followed by a global release. It will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the upcoming flip. It sounds exciting because of a bigger outer display, flagship performance and cameras.

I have high hopes for the 2022. The rumors are promising, the potential is there, and the company could very well be preparing to launch one of the best phones of the 21st century. I count myself excited.
