The men's and women's Jimmy V Classic college basketball events were announced on Thursday with a pair of potential top 10 games on the women's side.
Duke will play Iowa in a men's game at Madison Square Garden on December 6. The women's games will take place on December 4th.
It will be the first time since 1980 that Duke will have a different coach than Mike Krzyzewski. The Blue Devil's recruiting class is the top-ranked class in the country.
The Longhorns are in the Way-Too- Early Top 25. Texas brings back three starters from last season's 22-win team, as well as welcoming two five-star freshmen and an elite transfer from Iowa State. Illinois lost All-American Kofi Cockburn, but it was able to get impact transfers and top recruits.

The four women's teams are all ranked in the top 11 of the most recent Way-Too- Early Top 25.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research is the beneficiary of the Jimmy V Classic. More than $150 million has been raised for the V Foundation by the sports network. V week raised a record $13.35 million last year.
