Twitter is down, so Elon Musk can't tweet about Twitter (Update: It's back)

The issue seems to be global.

UPDATE: Jul. 14, 2022, 3:08 p.m. EDT Twitter is back and working normally for us. There has been no official word from Twitter about the outage yet.

A lot of users have issues accessing the social media site, and it hasn't been loading for us at Mashable.

I was able to get the website to load, but it wasn't possible to load any of the messages.

The other popular services seem to be working.

There is an exhausting back and forth between rich guy Musk his bid to buy Twitter, which he'd now like to take back, but he doesn't get to. We will be spared the drama for a short time.

When we know more about the causes of the outage, we will update this article.
