Twitter is down in a major outage

The social networking site is down and experiencing an issue. Many users reported "over capacity" error messages and even errors when they tried to use the service. The issues are affecting the company.

Downdetector has thousands of reports of issues with the social networking site. Right now, it is not possible to log into the service or access the service via the main site.

Since February, there have been a number of problems with the social network. Users in parts of the US were unable to access the service due to a technical bug that prevented timelines from loading.

Just days after the social network filed a lawsuit against Musk, there are new service issues. Musk is trying to get out of the $44 billion acquisition deal because he believes that the platform has failed to fulfill requests for information.
