A year after Donald Trump launched his "Trump Cards" for his supporters, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis appears to be hawking a gold "membership" card of his own.

The gold "DeSantis Freedom Team Membership Card" was available to donors on one of the pages. The design of the card shows a smiling DeSantis in sunglasses.

The website said it was exclusive for the top 100 supporters.

Those who sign up for the exclusive updates from the team will be fighting to keep Florida free.

The recommended donation amount to get the card was $37 and the funds would be used for the campaign of Ron DeSantis, Republican for Governor.

The email that encouraged people to sign up for the card was sent by the campaign of Ron DeSantis.

Insider asked for comment from representatives for DeSantis, but they didn't reply.

Trump asked his supporters in an email to choose their favorite design for his membership card. The first version of the card had the former president's signature on it.

One of the cards appeared to have a typographical error. The cards looked like symbols from the Third Reich and the Kennkarte, which were used in Nazi Germany.

The price of the card was confirmed in September. The eagle image that could be downloaded for free was found in this design.

A renewed version of the red Trump Card was called on by Trump's campaign in April.

Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis are seen as hot favorites for the GOP's presidential ticket in 2024, although neither has officially entered the race. The lawmaker is focused on Florida and running for re-election as governor this year, according to his spokesman.
