Judge Rules Britney Spears' Dad Must Sit for Deposition

The deposition of Britney's dad has to take place in Los Angeles before August 12th, but a specific date and location for the depo have not been decided.

There was no appearance from Britney or Jamie at the end of the court hearing. The judge denied Jamie's request to get documents from Britney. Jamie is going to file an appeal.

A judge ruled that Jamie Spears will be questioned about his role in Britney Spears' affairs.

The ruling came down in LA. For months, Britney's father and father-in-law have been talking about this issue. Jamie wants his lawyers to be able to question his daughter.

After hearing arguments, the judge decided to put off a final ruling until July 27.

We don't know when Jamie's deposition will take place, but we know that he has been asked to give documents and answer questions about how the conservatorship was run.

He claims Jamie blew a lot of Brit's money. Spears' room has cameras and listening devices in it.

Jamie thinks Britney should be deposed because she's made a lot of accusations about how he's treated her, such as saying he forced her into rehab and wouldn't allow her to get married.
