According to the airline, it has reached an impressive milestone when it comes to installing wi-fi in its fleet.
The first major ultra low cost carrier in the US will offer inflight wi-fi. All of the airline's planes now feature wi-fi.
It doesn't mean that all of the airline's fleet has free wi-fi. There is no decision as to whether or not these planes will get wi-fi.
Around 80% of the airline's fleet has wi-fi, and 31 of them are the A319s. There are over 100 A320neos and A321neos on order, and all of them will be delivered with wi-fi.
The high-speed internet is available across the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean, thanks to a partnership between the airline and the company. It's fast enough to offer streaming, and the service promises an at- home level of experience in the air.
The company's FlytLIVE-enabled planes will be connected to the new SES 17 satellite, which will give them the fastest wi-fi service of any US based airline.
The cost of the wi-fi is based on the length of the flight.
If you want to purchase wi-fi, you can either connect to the "Spirit_WiFi network" or open your browser and go to spirit wifi.com.
Guests will be able to purchase wi-fi at the time of booking through the spirit mobile app and spirit.com as of August 10, 2022. This can be used for flights as of August 24, 2022. A voucher code will be given to those who pre- purchase a plan.
All A320 and A321 aircraft have been equipped with wi-fi. The A319s are the only planes that don't have wi-fi. Spirit is the only ultra low cost carrier in the US that offers free wi-fi. It is also fast and has a lot of coverage.
The difference between Frontier and Spirit can be seen in the fact that Spirit has wi-fi.
What did you think about the experience of using Spirit's wi-fi?
