Trump ramps up feud with Elon Musk, claiming he could have made Musk drop to his knees and beg for help when he was president

In a series of Truth Social posts on Tuesday, the former President continued his feud with Musk.

Just a day after Musk said it was time for the former President to sail into the sunset, Trump wrote three posts hitting out at him.

When Musk came to the White House and asked for help on all of his subsidized projects, he told me how worthless the subsidies would be.

Trump bragged about the lawsuit that Musk is involved in.

If he doesn't get himself out of the mess, he could owe $44 billion for something that isn't really worth anything. There's a lot of competition for electric cars. It was written by Trump.

While he was in office, Trump helped Musk out. In 2020, Musk received Trump's support to defy the local authorities and open his California factory.

Musk was unperturbed by Trump's comments on Tuesday. Musk responded to the person who tagged him in a picture of Trump's post with a message of his own.

An animated image of "The Simpsons" character, Grampu Simpson, appeared to yell and wave his fist out a window, as Musk followed up his response.

The recent spat between Musk and Trump started after the former president called Musk a "bullshit artist" at a rally.

Musk said he didn't hate Trump but thought it was time for the former president to leave.

In June, Musk said that he would probably back Ron DeSantis for president. Despite being hot favorites for the race, neither Trump nor DeSantis has officially declared that they are running.

Musk's representatives did not respond to Insider's questions.
