The actor who plays the young HanSolo in the Star Wars universe is returning to the Disney universe. According to reports, Ehrenreich has been cast in Ironheart, a Disney+ show about a young, genius superhero.
We don't care who Ehrenreich plays if it's not a young Tony Stark. Anthony Ramos is rumored to be a part of the cast too, as he was recently tapped as head writer. Audiences are likely to get their first glimpse of Riri in this winter's Black Panther, where she's expected to make her debut
We don't know much about Ironheart the show or Ehrenreich's role in it, so we think it's worth discussing the actor himself. He returned recently to join Christopher Nolan's latest film, as well as the Elizabeth Banks comedy Cocaine Bear. We would only be speculating about the reasons for the break, but you would think he would want to stay away from similar franchises for a while. And then, boom. He is joining the comic book universe. The strength of this role and show is encouraging for any and all potential Han Solo-related projects. Something about the production must have drawn the actor in.
Next week at San Diego Comic-Con, we might get official confirmation of Ehrenreich and Ramos. He will get a reception like a hero of the Rebellion if he walks on that stage.
