According to a report, Scottie Barnes is not part of the trade talks between the Raptors and Nets about Kevin.

"Scottie Barnes continues to be a non-starter for the Raptors in any Kevin Durant discussions," Adrian Wojnarowski said on NBA Today on Tuesday. No progress has been made with Toronto.

He was selected to his 12th All-Star Game last season, after he requested a trade.

Barnes averaged 15.3 points, 7.5 rebound and 3.5 assists for the Raps.

The Raptors wouldn't want to include Barnes, who is a potential All-Star. The ex-Florida State star could make a home in the NBA for a long time.

The question is if Barnes is a sticking point in the talks.

According to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, discussions about KD and other players could linger into training camp.

"I think [the Nets] thought there was going to be a tremendous bidding war and while there's a lot of interest, from what I can tell, that bidding war isn't really hot right now." pic.twitter.com/LwbgwYgL21

According to a July 3 report by Real GM, the Miami Heat and the Phoenix Suns have been in constant contact with the Brooklyn Nets.
