The suit accuses Musk of backing out of the deal because of his personal wealth falling, not because he didn't get enough information about the prevalence of fake accounts.

Delaware's Court of Chancery may be able to force Musk to close the deal on agreed-upon terms.

Musk has been contacted by Forbes.

According to the complaint, Musk refused to honor his obligations to the company because the deal he signed no longer served his interests.

Musk has mostly laughed off the threats. He claimed a lawsuit would force the disclosure of information about bot accounts.
