According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, wide receiver N' Keal Harry was traded to the Chicago Bears.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that the Pats will get a seventh-round pick in exchange for the young player.

After selecting Harry with the 32nd pick in the draft, the Pats had high expectations for him. His college career at Arizona State included back-to-back All-Pac-12 first-team selections.

He was placed on injured reserve due to an ankle injury. He made his professional debut in the 11th week of the campaign. In seven games, he had 105 yards and two touchdown on 12 reception.

Harry's performance didn't improve despite being healthy in 2020. In 14 games, he had 309 yards and two touchdown on 33 catches.

In July of last year, Harry's agent issued a statement saying that his client had requested a trade from the Pats.

Even though the team didn't grant his request, Harry's status with the Pats became more uncertain after the team made a series of acquisitions.

The receiving corps added two new additions. The team got two starting tight ends with the signings of Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith.

In the off-season, the Pats traded DeVante Parker to the Dolphins and then drafted Tyquan Thornton in the second round.

Mac Jones was the center of the offense during his first season. The improved play didn't help Harry in the ninth place finish. In 12 games, he had 12 catches for 185 yards.

After finishing 30th in passing last year, Chicago presents Harry with an opportunity for a fresh start. Harry is a big man and could be an asset to young quarterback Justin Fields.
