This fake Ja Morant quote appeared on an ESPN broadcast

You are better than this. Ten years ago, someone fell for a parody account. Look for a blue check from Ballsack sports. There is a two-second read to make sure you don't get Sacked. It's not the first time it's happened and you have to make fun of it.

Ballsack Sports posted a fake quote from Ja Morant that said, "If you putMJ in today's game he's just another superstar." It's not just one superstar and a bunch of average dudes, you feel.

If Ja had actually said those things, it would be a big deal. He didn't The producer of the segment didn't double-check that before handing it over to Perkins.

The segment was credited to Bleacher Report based on an interview Morant did with BR's Taylor Rooks in which he said he'd cook MJ in a one-on-one game. Nobody will beat me in one-on-one. Who is the best soccer player in the world? Set it up.

The fake Ballsack Sports quote that was attributed to Bleacher Report was actually the real transcript from Ja's interview. They should have stopped while they were ahead.

He absolutely did not say this in the interview and I can't believe it was broadcasted. A correction should be issued for that.

The account said that they would put the lead content creator for Disney on their resume. It's possible that they should. They got Perkins before, as well as Stephen A. Smith, with a fake rumor about a fight between James Harden and Kyrie Irving. The next intern should double check their sources.

A graphic describing how to spot fake quotes or news is pinned on the account. You can check it out.
