In highly anticipated videotaped testimony that the committee investigating the attack on the U.S. Capitol made public Tuesday, Cipollone said former White House chief of staff MarkMeadows assured him that Trump would concede and make a "graceful exit."

The idea of ordering the seizure of voting machines was one that Cipollone said was a terrible idea.

Cipollone was against the idea of appointing Sidney Powell as special counsel to investigate voter fraud.

The committee heard from Cipollone for eight hours on Friday. His status as one of Trump's top legal advisors was one of the reasons why the committee sought his testimony. In his testimony, Cipollone gave almost everything that the committee had learned from previous hearings.
