Save On JetBlue Flights With Amex Offers (Targeted)

A great deal can be found with the Amex offers program. There is a new offer that can save you money on the cost of a purchase.

Save $80 on a JetBlue purchase

An $80 statement credit is available when you spend $200 or more on a JetBlue flight. Purchases can be made through September 24, 2022.

If you spend $200 on a flight, you can get up to 40% back, which is great. There are some basic conditions that need to be understood.

• You need to spend $200, but it can be in multiple transactions
• You have to make your purchase directly with JetBlue, either via jetblue.com, the JetBlue mobile app, or JetBlue’s call center
• If you make a flight purchase, the flight must originate in the United States, and be charged in USD
• You need to be charged for your flight purchase by September 24, 2022, but there’s no need to actually travel by then
• The offer is valid for purchases with JetBlue and JetBlue Vacations, including inflight purchases, baggage, pets, cancelation and change fees, and business and group travel

If you have the Platinum Card from American Express, you can see this offer on several cards. The card has membership rewards points on airfare. I value membership rewards points at 1.7 cents each, which is the equivalent of an 8.5% return on spending there.

If you combine the $80 statement credit and value of the 5x points, you can get around 50% back on $200 worth of spending. Amex offers add a lot of value to Amex cards, more than the annual fees on cards.

There is a new Amex offer that can save you $80 on a purchase of $200 or more. This is an excellent deal, and when you factor in the statement credit and value of points, you can potentially get half off a $200 purchase.
