There has been a lot of excitement about the upcoming release of the James Webb Telescope images.

The gold-coated instrument, which cost a solid $10 billion and is currently circling the sun a million miles away, has been busy snapping some shiny colour photos that are about to give us an unprecedented look into deep space.

The image, revealed by President Joe Biden at the White House, is objectively stunning, giving a view of a galaxy in distant deep space. It's only when you look at previous images of deep space that you can see how powerful the James Webb Telescope is.

The new image was compared to an older image of the same galaxy cluster by the User Experience designer.

The Hubble Telescope took a picture of the RELICS Treasury program. It took weeks for that first image to be captured, compared to the hours it took for the Near-Infrafred Camera to take the new image.
