Amazon Prime Day knocks up to $600 off some of Sony's best mirrorless cameras

Multiple models of Sony's popular full-frame mirrorless cameras are on sale, so if you've been eyeing one, now is the time to act. The current A7R IV is on sale for $2,998 and the A7R III is on sale for $2,198. The 24-70mm f/2.8 G Master zoom and the 24-105 f/4 G zoom are both available for $300 off.

The Sony A7R IV got one of the highest camera review scores ever thanks to its fast and accurate autofocus, superb high-resolution photo quality, bright and sharp viewfinder, and great handling. I was impressed with the high burst speeds and the large file sizes on the images. For a high-res camera, it can handle video. The Prime Day discount helps take the sting out of the mediocre menu system.

The A7R III has a lower resolution, but it's also a highly-rated camera with excellent performance, 5- axis stabilization and more. Along with the two high-res models, Sony is also offering a $200 discount on its stalwart A7 III, and has dropped the price on the aging, but still very useful A7 II model to just $900.

Sony has you covered if you're looking for more than one type of lens. Along with the $300 price drop on the 24-70mm f/2.8 G Master zoom and 24-105 f/4 G zoom, you can also get $100 discounts on the Sony 50mm f/1.2 G Master and FE 35mm F1.4 GM G Master. It's best to act now because the best deals are likely to sell out before the sale ends on July 17th.
