A big sales event like Amazon Prime Day is just an opportunity for other retailers to take advantage of. We have already seen Target and Best Buy run promotions, and now Best Buy is adding fuel to the fire by giving away PS5 consoles for free to its paying subscribers.

On Tuesday, July 12th, members of Best Buy's Totaltech program will be able to queue for a PS5 with a disc drive. Free delivery and installation for appliances from Best Buy is one of the perks of Totaltech, which costs $199.99 a year.

Digital and physical games can be played on the PS4 and PS5.

It is advisable to log into your Totaltech account at least a few minutes before the scheduled restock in order to get the most out of it. You will be put into Best Buy's queue once you refresh your page at 12PM and click "add to cart". Go away from the page if you want to. You should be able to checkout with the console once you get through the queue, but keep in mind that sometimes Best Buy's restock availability is dependent on your proximity to a store. It's best of luck and persistence.
