NASA released a high-resolution image of the universe on Monday that it said was the highest-resolution image ever taken.
During an event at the White House, NASA unveiled an image of the universe, and plans to release more of it on Tuesday.
According to NASA, the photo shows thousands of galaxies from around 5000 years ago.
The James Webb Space Telescope was launched in December and is currently 1 million miles away from Earth. The largest and most sophisticated satellite telescope ever made by NASA was built in partnership with the European Space Agency and Canadian Space Agency and is expected to offer an unparalleled view of the early universe.
There are more pictures. NASA says the telescope has enough fuel to operate for 20 years.
