At least as far as operating businesses are concerned, Klarna's announcement that its funding round has come to a close brings with it one of the largest valuations in memory. The company is now worth over $6 billion after raising $800 million, but it is still worth less than it was a year ago.
The price of Klarna has moved a lot. The company's next funding round was thought to be around $50 billion when it was first thought of. It grew to $30 billion, then $15 billion, then $10 billion. The final price cut felt punishing. Is it actually true? Is Affirm cheap now that Klarna's valuation has come down so much?
