Trump rally in North Carolina canceled as former president summoned to court

Donald Trump and a host of other Republicans have canceled their appearances in the area.

It is reported that Trump, his son, Donald Trump Jr., and his daughter, Ivanka, will testify under oath Friday in an investigation into Trump's finances.

In May, the American Freedom Tour had announced appearances by Donald Trump, Trump Jr., and others.

The American Freedom Tour removed the event from its website after it was no longer happening. The tickets for the event sold out in less than an hour.

The News & Observer got a generic reply to their request.

The American Freedom Tour stop in North Carolina has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. You can use your ticket at any American Freedom tour event.

There is only one event on the organization's website at the moment.

The email stated that phone calls would be placed to those who registered to attend the event in order to answer further questions. There would be a second email after the event is canceled.
