To get you out of this conversation, all users can now select the three-dot menu next to atweet. You will not be tagged in the replies if you leave the conversation. If you don't mention yourself in a tweet, your handle will turn gray, which means that you've opted out of the conversation and can't be tagged back into it. Notifications will be turned off if you don't mention yourself.

Last year, there was a preview of the unmentioning feature. The company wanted users to be able to control unwanted attention.

The social network has been adding anti-abuse features to its platform. Safety Mode is an anti-abuse feature that was tested last September. Within Safety Mode, it's possible to block accounts that send abuse. In February, the company expanded the safety mode test.

There is an anti-abuse feature on the social media site. All of the accounts you mention are included. The option to remove old tweets from websites they used to show up on is one of the ways that Twitter leans towards giving users more power.
