  • Ryan compared Trump to Luca Brasi, a fictional character.

  • Ryan thought Trump's control over the GOP was a mass sociology experiment.

  • Mark Leibovich wrote a book about the former House Speaker.

According to a new book, former House Speaker Paul Ryan was amazed at how easy Donald Trump was to control the Republican Party.

According to Mark Leibovich's new book, "Thank You for Your Servitude: Donald Trump's Washington and the Price of Submission," Ryan was surprised by it.

Ryan, the 2012 GOP vice presidential nominee, said he was astounded that a single man could rule the party by fear.

Ryan said that the idea of Luca Brasi, the notorious soldier and enforcer for mobster Vito Corleone in the novel and film, would make all of the members afraid.

"Luca Brasi did not fear the police, he did not fear society, he did not fear God, he did not fearhell, and he did not love his fellow man," Puzo wrote. He chose to fear and love Don Corleone.

Ryan told Leibovich how a man approached him when he was at a metalica concert after he left congress.

The man told Ryan that his wife liked him but he was a conservative. Ryan said that he was actually a conservative. The man only said that Trump does not like him.

The publication of Trump's "Access Hollywood" tape caused Ryan to refuse to campaign with him in Wisconsin. Ryan retired from Congress before the Republicans lost control of the House.

Ryan said that disobeying Trump on a single vote can have disastrous consequences for a person's career.

That rattles you if you're a member of congress. Ryan said that the intimidation factor was the main factor. Trump will come after you if you're below 97 percent. It is similar to a mass sociology experiment.

Brasi's fate wasn't mentioned. Brasi is tricked and killed. His vest was wrapped around a dead fish and he slept with it.

The people for Trump and Ryan didn't respond to the request for comment. His daughter's wedding is not happening.
