Last year we covered Impress, a Barcelona-based startup that raised a $50 million Series A in order to digitalize the area of orthodontists.
Consumers can only get dental work in conventional clinics. This new wave of technology includes 3D scans and panoramic X-rays, as well as Telehealth apps that allow patients to monitor their progress and sheck-in with the clinics.
Impress has a chain of orthodontists in southern Europe.
The company says it has raised $100 million of a proposed $125 million Series B round.
It was founded in Barcelona and now has a presence in 130+ European cities and 8 countries.
Lupenko said that they created a new orthodontist experience powered by technology. The processes are fully digitalized thanks to Impress. It wouldn't have been possible without close contact between our patients and the medical team.
Valéry Huot saidImpress is disrupting the market while maintaining medical excellence and patient care at highest level.
