Over the years, a lot of Star Wars fans have wondered how to say "AT-AT"

Are you saying each letter A-T-A-T?

The official TWo account for the storied franchise recently joked about the imperial walkers with a poll in which the answer was either "AT-AT" or something similar.

How do you pronounce AT-AT?

He wasn't finished.

There may not be a right answer to any of the names and pronunciations according to the message pinned to his profile.

FYI: When we would ask George: "Is it Chew-bah-ka or Chew-back-a?" / "Is it Lay-a or Lee-a?" / "Is it Hahn or Han (as in hand)?"- he would just shrug & didn't really care. He told us it would be pronounced in various ways in different parts of the galaxy. 🤨#TrueStoryhttps://t.co/9dZ81vIxQw

Lucas had a vision for this and the franchise embraced it.

Dave Filoni spoke about the topic at a Star Wars event.

You can say walker and A-T-A-T. He said he was for all three. I have imperials say walkers and I have them say A-T-A-T.
