As far as how people feel about the movie is concerned, it seems like a lot of the internet thought it was garbage. The numbers are correct. One of the highest-grossing openings in the MCU was "Love andThunder", which made over $150 million in the US. It's good for Disney, but the general reaction to the film isn't great. Critics gave it a relatively low score, which is a drastic drop compared to other movies, but that's not the case with "L&T." The movie was also found to be bad by the pros. What is their beef? People seem to have found it to be juvenile. If you scroll through some of the "Thor" trends, you'll see that it's either people who don't like the movie or people who like the movie and hate the people who do. That might be true, but it looks like a good majority of people don't like Taika Waititi's direction of the new "Thor" movie. Some feel that the character/franchise has jumped the shark by relying too heavily on gags and punchlines. Some of these recaps say that Christian Bale's bad guy character doesn't get enough screen time and that Natalie Portman doesn't get enough screen time. Some viewers thought the movie was all over the place and not evenly distributed. It's not terrible for a regular movie to have an audience score of 81%, but it's not great for a movie like Avenger. We haven't seen it yet, so we don't know if it's valid or overblown. Don't expect a superhero movie from the outside.
