There was a lawyering up on the site. According to a report, the company hired Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, a firm notable enough to have its own Wikipedia page, and a founding partner, Martin Lipton, who invented the shareholder rights plan.

Musk filed a document on Friday to try to cancel his takeover of the micro-blogging site. The company would pursue legal action to close the deal according to the agreement. The Delaware Court of Chancery is where the case will be argued.

Two lawyers were hired by the company. William Savitt is an attorney who has represented companies in the Delaware court. The other is a former Chancellor of the Delaware Chancery Court who went on to become the Chief Justice of the state Supreme Court.

It's believed that Musk has hired the same company that received the treatment on the internet. It defended Musk in his pedo guy defamation case, as well as the aftermath of his funding secured, after he said he would take the company private.
