WNBA All-Stars all wear Griner's No. 42 in second half (0:36)

In the second half, the All-Stars wore jerseys with the number 42 written on them. It was 0: 36.

A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, and the rest of the All-Stars lined up on the sideline after the second half.

The league's best players didn't feel she should be playing with them in the marquee All-Star Game, where Team Wilson pulled away from Team Stewart for a 134- 112 victory.

Since it began play in 1997, the league's position in the city has been its strongest. A wave of promising young stars like Wilson, Ionescu and Plum are moving to the forefront as viewership is up.

The league is increasing its bonus pools by 50% and the teams in the finals will travel on charter flights. There will be 40 games next year, up from 36 this year, and the league has been meeting with potential owners for expansion teams.

The business is being transformed to improve the experience for players.
