Scorecard

England held on for a win in the third Twenty20 against India.

After five overs, the tourists were 31-3 and Suryakumar's 48 ball ton gave them hope.

He hit 14 fours and six sixes in his amazing display of shots.

Suryakumar launched an assault at the start of the final over, needing 41 runs to win the game.

The first four balls yielded 16 runs but the 31-year-old mistiming his stroke looked to clear the ropes again and was caught at long-off for a century.

England won by 17 runs and India ended on 198-9 as Chris Jordan closed out the final over.

The man scored 77 from 39 balls in the game.

The three-game one-day international series between India and England will start on Tuesday at The Oval.
