The Boys’ Spin-Off Will Draw From Season 3, Be Key To Season 4

There has to be a better way to format the spin-off of The Boys, which is called "The Boys Presents: Varsity". The show is going to be similar to the main show in that it will focus on a college for young people.

Things that will feed into Season 4 of the show, as it will air between the two, are the storylines that build off the recently concluded Season 3 finale. The main show, especially in its debut season here, will cross over with the new show.

We're trying to design a universe that sees some of the issues and storylines in Season 3 hand off to the first season in Varsity. There are certain things happening at the school that are related to the third season of The Boys. There are new storylines happening in the spinoff that we have to pick up and take into the fourth season of the show.

The presidential campaign where Robert Singer replaced his assassinated VP running mate with a secret Super and Homelander ally is what Kripke is referring to. The results of that election will be the focus of the fourth season. The world is dealing with a split between Homelander and Starlight fans, where Homelander has now more or less been unleashed with his "shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue" moment that shows his fans will support him if he murders someone.

We don't know what the storylines will be for the fourth season of The Boys. We don't know much about the cast at this point.

Sean Patrick Thomas, Marco Pigossi, and Asa Germann are not the only ones.

You could have said that about the cast of The Boys minus Karl Urban and that guy from Gossip Girl. After his turn as Homelander, Antony Starr is going to become a household name.

I am curious to see how this college series with a brand new cast will go after three seasons of The Boys. If fans want to be current with what is happening in season 4 of the main show, they need to watch it.
